The Shield is a bold and powerful sterling silver shield pendant, handcrafted in solid sterling silver and engraved with four ancient runes of protection, healing, strength, and guidance.
– Plate thickness: 2,5 mm (0,1″)

This powerful pendant was born from a moment of vulnerability – a time when I felt exposed and drained, as if the world could too easily pierce my spirit.
Together with my mother Anita, we poured our hearts into designing this piece.
A Nordic silver shield, shaped as a heart-armour of protection and presence.
She spent countless hours refining every curve and proportion,
turning our inner vision into form. Something timeless, grounding, and strong.
At its center, a mirror-polished circle reflects the world back:
what is given, is returned.
Love for love. Energy for energy.
Nothing harmful can enter.
The design was originally inspired by a poem written by Johan,
whose words carried light and courage to me in a fragile time..
The original poem by Johan reads:
”No words of insult will enter. No force of evil will overcome.
No darkness will blacken my light. I won’t be touched or downed.
Nothing can harm my heart or torment my mind.
For I’m protected.
I’m the barrier of my life. The shelter of my soul.
The Shield… of my fate.”
A shortened version of these words is engraved on the back of the pendant.
Four ancient runes are carved into the design. At the top, Algiz – the rune of divine protection and intuitive strength. Around it, Laguz, for healing and emotional flow.
Uruz, for raw, vital power. And Kenaz, the flame that guides us through darkness.
This necklace is about standing in your light, untouchable through clarity and presence.

We at Jonna Jinton Sweden only use nickel-free 925 sterling silver. Sterling silver oxidizes (darken) over time due to the exposure of different environments. If you take care of your silver jewelry, it will oxidize in a slower pace and keep its luster for a longer period of time.
To prevent both oxidation and abrasion, please follow the advices below:
- When you are not wearing your jewelry, store it in the enclosed box.
- Clean the jewelry with cloth after each use to get rid of grease, salts, makeup etc.
- Don’t wear the jewelry while sleeping, doing the dishes or taking a bath.
- Keep your jewelry away from chemicals, salt- and chlorinated water.
- Clean your jewelry from time to time with silver polish.
Additional cleaning instructions for gemstone jewelry*
- Let soak in warm water (not hot) with a small amount of dish soap.
- Clean and scrub with a soft brush.
- Rinse in running warm water (not hot) and dispense with a piece of cloth.
* This does not apply to the Selenite crystal. It's classed as a soft mineral and should be kept dry.

CHARGE YOUR JEWELRY PIECE IN THE MIDNIGHT SUN
We always put care into the details for our customer to make their experience as special as possible. The continue on this path we will offer a unique service, for this coming week, where you have the option and opportunity to charge your jewelry piece outdoors during the Summer Solstice, in the Midnight Sun.
On the 20th of June, the jewelry will be placed on rocks, branches and moss out in Nature, aligning with the rhythms of the season, bathing in year's most abundant sunlight.
This option is available until June 19th 11pm CET, 2026, and can only be applied to newly purchased jewelry.
